Understanding Betting Odds: A Pinoy Beginner's Guide
Decimal, Malay at Hong Kong odds — paano basahin at paano kalkulahin ang panalo.

Hong Kong Odds
Hong Kong odds show profit only per ₱1. HK 1.50 means a ₱100 bet wins ₱150 profit (you get ₱250 back). Decimal = Hong Kong + 1.
Malay Odds
Popular in Southeast Asia, Malay odds can be positive or negative. Positive (e.g. 0.80) means ₱100 wins ₱80. Negative (e.g. -0.80) means you stake ₱80 to win ₱100 — used for heavy favorites.

Favorites vs Underdogs
Lower odds = favorite (more likely, smaller payout). Higher odds = underdog (less likely, bigger payout). The implied probability of decimal odds is simply 1 ÷ odds — so 2.00 implies a 50% chance.
Calculating Your Payout
For decimal odds: Stake × Odds = Total Return. So ₱200 at 1.85 returns ₱370. Easy diba?
